（25才を過ぎてる場合の）ワーキングホリデービザ申請用レポートの書き方

Ｑ： ワーキングホリデイのビザを取得する為の（現在２９才の為）申請用レポートの書き方を御存じであれば教えてください。

Ａ：　文例は、下記の通り、福島が起案してくれましたので参考にしてください。

　ワーキングホリデーって原則25才までですが、25才を過ぎていても「それなりの理由」を申し添えて申請すれば、ビザが出たりするのですね。でも「それなりの理由」ってなんじゃい？というと、これがよくわからない。

　多分「申請レポートの書き方」というものはないでしょうし、自分の思ってることを素直に書くしかないと思います。ただ、そうはいっても、相手からすれば、「なんでこれまで申請しなかったの？」という当然の疑問は湧くでしょうし、そこが納得されなかったら原則どおり却下になりかねない。また、「どうしてオーストラリアなの？」という部分も書いておいたほうがいいでしょう。あるいは、「どうして他のビザじゃ駄目なの？」という部分も。要するに、「条件は欠けているけど、どーしてもオーストラリアでワーホリやりたいのです」「どうして？」ときて、「それは〜」以降の理由部分を書くことになろうかと思います。
　移民局のビザ発給基準なんてあってなきが如しではなかろうかと推測するわけです。今年はちょっと人数多いから削ろうかとか、失業率高くなってるから国内の若者の職を保護する為ワーホリは少なめにしようかとか、真実がどうあれそういう世論があればそれなりに「政治的配慮」をしましょうねとか、そんな部分でかなり左右されたりするように思います（いや、見てきたわけじゃないので、あくまで推測ですけど）。


　参考文例はあくまでフィクションの設定でのものですので、あとはお好きに（実体に即して）アレンジすればいいんじゃないかと思います。そういえば、エリコス行ってたときのクラスメートも25才過ぎてのワーホリだったけど、「なんで？」と聞いたら「いやあ、勤めてた会社が倒産しちゃったのよ」とか笑ってましたが。知り合いの英語ネィティブの人にレポート書いてもらったそうですが、「会社が潰れたから」とレポートに書いたかどうかは知りません。

Dear Sir/Madam,

I'm writing to apply for Working Holiday Visa.
I am now 29 years old and really wish to go to Australia with Working Holiday Visa.
The reason why I have not applied so far is mainly because I have been enthusiastic in my job so much. After my graduation from Matsuomoto University, I joined Matsui Pty Ltd as a system engineer. I have been in charge of developing new software for 7 years. It was a hard job and interesting enough to forget to care of my private life. However I suddenly realised that I devoted too much to my job and company and nothing could be received from this lifestyle any more. So, I decided to go abroad and experience something different from what I had known. I reserached which country is most suitable for me. Now I am sure that Australia is the best.

I am interested in Australia because they have lots of nature and multi-cultural society which we have never experienced in Japan. I would like to stay there for a year working and living just like as a resident. I would like to communicate a lot with Australians and people from other countries as well. I belive that I will then learn another way of thinking from this experience in Australia and that will contribute to promote the relationship between Australia and Japan in the future.
